Turning Passion into Heat Print Success: Jen from The Salty Spaniel

In this episode of The Garment Decorators Podcast, we’re joined by Jen, the creative mastermind behind The Salty Spaniel — a thriving business in the heart of Pembrokeshire. Jen's love for her Spaniel and passion for seaside living, has created a booming business with the power of heat printing.

Jen shared that her Spaniel, Woody, was the inspiration behind both her business name and many of her garment designs. She keeps both Woody and her love for the local area at the heart of every decision she makes for her business. Some of her best-selling products include her Pembrokeshire coast map and the Woody dog design.

In this podcast, Jen talks about how she approaches branding her garments. She explains that in addition to branded neck labels on her t-shirts and hoodies, she also ensures each garment has an external tag. Beanies feature wrap-around hem tags, while t-shirts have extra branding on areas like the sleeves or the bottom. Jen’s customers have come to recognize her logo—a charming line drawing of Woody the dog—on nearly every piece of clothing she creates.
