Top 3 Products to Print For Summer

Despite being 6 months into 2024, warm weather is only just rearing it's head. But it does mean that the UK might be lucky enough to see an extended summer this year. Meaning, you still have time to add these 3 summer products to your business!

Find out how profitable they could be below...

Hats & Caps

Did you know a blank Beechfield Brands cap costs just £3?

You can fit up to 200 5cm logos on 1x metre of High Build HTV, making each 5cm hat design just 5p each!

Depending on your market, you could retail your finished caps at £10-25 each and make up to £22 profit this year!

What you'll need:

The Hotronix 360IQ Cap Press - The newest standard in hat heat printing. The heated moulded lower platen fits any cap, offers 360 degrees of decoration and minimises scorching.

High Build HTV - While other hat decoration methods are available and profitable, this HTV is the thickest on the market and has been known to turn heads.

Can Coolers

Perfect for when the weather heats up!

Blank Can Coolers cost as little as 50p each when purchased in bulk. With a similar size print space to hats, you'll be looking at a production cost of no more than £1 total per can cooler. If you implement a similar method as the above hats, your decoration method could cost as little as 5p!

Make sure your set your minimum order quantity for this product accordingly. If you're printing promotional can coolers for events, by creating bundles of x20 or more, you'll ensure the job is worth printing and you'll actually make some profit. Perhaps you could throw a can cooler or two in with a larger garment bundle for extra value.

What you'll need:

The Can Cooler Platen from Hotronix - This platen allows you to print 8 items at once. You can also use this for sliders, socks and other items you can slide on.

A decoration method: Custom Heat Transfers are popular for items this small as you can gang sheet your designs and get your price per transfer down very low.

Shorts

Perfect for sports teams, workwear and retail fashion brands, there will be high demand for custom shorts this summer.

With blank pairs of shorts starting at just £5 on Ralawise.com and the expected print size no bigger than a 10cm neck label, you could be making around £15 profit on each pair.

What you'll need:

A Heat Press Pillow - This will help isolate a small area of the shorts for printing and allow any seams to sink away from the print space and into the pillow.

A decoration method: Custom Heat Transfers are popular for items this small as you can gang sheet your designs and get your price per transfer down very low.
