The biggest difference between all four of these hoodies is the materials they're made from and the colours they're available from. When bearing in mind that a higher polyester blend could result in dye migration and the possibility of scorching, The JH001 with its 80% Cotton and 20% Polyester blend, starts to look very attractive despite its £1 price difference from the B&C and ProRTX hoodies. The enormous range of colours offered by the JH001 opens up the ability to tailor your colour requirements for each school you print hoodies for.
However, as we are looking for the most cost-effective method of printing Leavers hoodies today, we're going to go with the Black BA434 from B&C at £8.99 per hoodie. The black colourway offers sizes S to 5XL meaning that every student will be covered without having to switch brands. The fabric makeup also boasts pre-shrunk cotton which means your customers won't get any nasty surprises when they take their hoodies out of the washer.
Now we have our hoodie base, it's time to turn to the decoration method.
Heat Transfers For Leavers Hoodies
Luckily, there are really only two heat transfer choices that you should be using when printing cost-effective Leavers hoodies
Method 2:
InkTra Screen Printed Transfers
160°C Application Temperature
1-5 Colour Screen Printed. 1 Colour most cost effective.

The main visual difference between the two heat transfer types is that UltraColour PRO offers a full colour finish and InkTra offers a much more traditional single colour design.
The cost of 200x UltraColour Pro A3 sheets is £2.63 per sheet.
The cost of 200x InkTra A3 sheets comes in marginally cheaper at £1.98 per sheet
If you're in need of a full colour graphic or a low temperature heat transfer then it's definitely worth choosing UltraColour PRO for the wow factor it presents for your clients but to continue on with this price comparison experiment, we're going to move forward with the single colour InkTra heat transfer design at £1.98 per sheet
Getting the most out of your Heat Transfer Sheet

Method #1:
The Whole Hoodie
On gang sheet #1, we have managed to fit 1x full back print, neck labels and a school logo. This will cover every aspect of printing a Leavers hoodie. It will brand the hoodie with the School logo as well as the inside neck label with your business to help increase referral business in the future.
To cover 200 students with this sheet design, you'll need 200x sheets which means that your full decoration cost per hoodie will be £1.98
Method #2:
The Basic Hoodie
On gang sheet #2, we have positioned 2x back prints. These prints will be A4 sized as they each equal half of an A3 sheet. This sheet style forgo's any hoodie branding.
To cover 200 students with this sheet design, you'll need 100x sheets which means that your sheet cost will be £2.22. Chopping this in half, your full hoodie decoration cost will be just £1.11
While Gang Sheet Method #2 is technically the more 'cost effective' approach to heat printing Leavers hoodies, it makes more sense to use Method #1. For only 0.87p per garment, you can offer the school the value of their branding on the front of each hoodie, as well as use your branding inside to secure future business (which in itself, is priceless).

Profit potential per hoodie: £14-£24
