How to heat print onto sleeves
If you're working in the garment decoration industry, it's likely you'll need to decorate smaller areas of garments like a sleeve and leg.
These parts of the garment can be tricky as you're often having to hang half of the garment off your heat press. As with any garment, your placement still needs to be perfect for your client.

The Hotronix Leg & Sleeve platen.
This is an interchangeable platen that simply slots into your Hotronix press and allows you to print up to 3 sleeves or legs ar any one time, tripling your print efficiency.
The platen is specifically designed to hold your sleeves in place, allowing the garment to hang off the platen within obscuring the pressure or print area. Our lower platen pad will grip your garment ensuring it does not slide off.
The perfect heat printing accessory
If you haven't purchased a Hotronix heat press but still need to be able to print sleeves and legs, our Print Perfect Pads might be for you.
Made of the same material as our lower platen pads, this accessory slides inside your sleeve and elevates your print space for accurate pressure application.
Print perfect pads have a similar purpose as heat printing pillows but work differently. While heat printing pillows allow the zippers and seams to depress into the pillow, print perfect pads actually raise the printing area to work around these elements.
The multifunctional heat press platen
Finally, our top tip for printing short sleeves is to hang your tshirts off the neck label section of the Tag Along Platen.
The Tag Along platen is designed so heat printers can press full chest and neck labels at the same time, doubling heat printing efficiency. However, if you whip your t-shirt off and finish off by printing your sleeves with the neck label area, this can triple or quadruple your heat printing efficiency.
